Thoughtless or just rude?

Hey, I really do hate to have two downer posts in a row, but the past few days have just been kinda like that. I failed to mention that while we were in Reno I got my hair cut and in an "oh why not" kind of moment, I had a few streaks of pink put in my hair. In the big scheme of things it isn't that big of a deal. It will wash out eventually and pink IS my favorite color right now so why not? Sara liked it, Betina liked it, and I liked it. I knew the impact it would have on my in-laws and I was right. They looked at me with disgust and I'm sure they were totally embarrassed. Since then I can't tell you how many people have looked at me with their nose snarled up and said, "What happened to your hair?" I mean, if you're going to comment on my hair why not just say, "Oh, you have pink in your hair" or something to that effect. They might as well be saying, "Why the hell did you do that?" or, "That looks ridiculous" I guess they don't feel that is a hurtful comment. So, I think the next person who says, "What happened to your hair?" is going to hear this: "My hair went out to a party last night and this is how it came back."
Enough about that.... I've been digital scrapbook shopping today. I bought some photo actions from http://www.limegreenbogiegirl.blogspot.com/ and I can't wait to get them and start playing. Kirsty seems like such a fun person and I love reading her blog. I just hope that when I use her actions, my photos will look half as good as hers.
I spent a lot of time on the phone this morning with a dear, dear friend. ::::waves and blows kiss to P:::: She's just about the best thing since sliced bread, that's all I gotta say. It sure is a wonderful feeling to have great friends. People who love you and support you. People who can make you smile just by thinking of them. The day is better already!!!

Your hair is adorable if you ask me. I wish I had the courage to do something like that to my hair. Please try not to let some people's rudeness get to you. They're snobs anyway. Jo

I've met your inlaws. I wouldn't worry about it. Not worth it.
