Her Space-My Space Shell

Shell
A thin protective cover for an animal or egg. Show us 'shell' in your space.

I actually have two today. Surprise, surprise. The last cherry chocolate cordial I've been hoarding for days now. mmm, love those. (hhmm, just put my reading glasses on and realized that this photo is somewhat blurry. I'll work on that when I get home)
This is from Balboa Park in San Diego, California.

Yesterday was something like 110 F here and there is no relief in sight. It doesn't even cool off at night and I'm already sick of it. I get really grumpy living here during the summers. So, basically from now until October, it's going to be incredibly hot, hot, hot. We just got our first electric bill of the summer and I almost fainted. Ohhh, I'm sooo hoping Scott is serious when he says we can move from here after Kristopher graduates from high school next year.

Anyway, I hope everyone has a great day and I'm off to look at your photos.

Great photos. Love the creative thinking in shooting the chocolate! The greenery in the snail shot is fabulous.

Two very different, but equally appealing shots.

I love the snail one, the green of the grass is so vivid and bright compared with the blander colouring of the snail. Fab shot!

The heat is miserable, I live in Fresno... so I get it too. Love your shells, I'm currently at a loss for shells, but I'll find something I'm sure!
