Weird Wednesday

Filligree
Ornamental fine wire work. Show us filligree in your space.

This piece belonged to my beloved grandmother, Naomi McPhail. I wish I knew the history surrounding it. Was it a gift? Who gave it to her? Was there a story to go along with it? So many l questions for one small piece of jewelry.

I'm not used to being off work in the middle of the week, but someone needed to trade and I was happy to do it since I also needed to take Betina down to the Health Department to get her health card. She couldn't go to work until she had one and was so eager to get started. So all in all it worked out in favor of all of us...trading days off that is. I'm going to make myself get busy around here and I WILL scrap something today even if it kills me!!! LOL So..I best be going before I find something else to do on the computer and then POOF...the day is gone.

It's a gorgeous brooch, but it's sad that you don't know the history of it. You've photographed it beautifully!
