"EYE" got it!!!!!

Eyes
The window to the soul, which eyes are watching in your space today ?

This is my youngest son, Kristopher. He has the most amazing blue eyes...and in this picture a blue face as well. I had been doing something with rubber stamps and he wanted to make his own project and this is how he ended up. Ohh I miss those days. He's 17 now and no longer wishes to do little arts and craft projects with his mama.
All my children have something special in their eyes. Sara has a sparkle and fire in her green eyes that makes you feel alive just by being in the same room with her. Jeff has a calmness and peacefullness in his green eyes, and Kris has mystery and beauty in those blue gems.
Soooo.....I got the job!!! I received the phone call from the physician yesterday morning and I'm going to be able to start within the next few weeks. I'm going to be a case manager for a brand new clinic for children and adolescents with HIV/AIDS. There are other programs in the works and I'm fortunate enough to be getting in with them on the ground floor. I am so excited about this work. The clinic is in the final stages of being built and so for now I'm just waiting for them to let me know when to come in. We will also be working with homeless teens to give them medical help, pregnant women who are at risk for developing diabetes, mental health for teens which is sorely lacking in this state, a program to try and increase the number of children who are immunized, and a number of other things are in the works. I'm just so excited!!!
Thanks to everyone who wished me luck yesterday. Obviously it paid off. Yippy Skippy!!!

Hi RUth,
I love this photo, those are the most BEAUTIFUL eyes. I remember years ago looking at photos of your 2 boys and remember what wonderful eyes they both had. When I think of you I always remember your boys about this age!!

I am so happy for you and your new job, you will do great. They are so lucky to have you there Ruth, you are truly an amazing and one of a kind person. I love and miss you Ruth, but really miss you today after seeing the photo.

Ruth, what joy you must feel when you get to scrap a pic of you little one even though he is older. I am so happy that you are starting a new job! What a blessing you will be to all that you will come in contact with. You and I both know that the state needs help with the teens especially. Congrats! Kim
