Lazy Saturday

I got another "T" on HS-MS this morning, so I decided to put up a photo that always makes me feel so happy and relaxed. Of course it's a cheat...a photo from two autumns ago when Scott and I were in New England for the second time. This was taken in Hyde Park, New York. Where the grass ends and down quite a way is the Hudson River. It was an amazing place. It's the Vanderbilt estate and early in the morning I basically had the grounds to myself to wander and take pictures. It was so tranquil, so peaceful and calming. I loved the this gorgeous bench and the way it just beckens you to come and sit quietly for awhile. If we lived there..that would most definietly be MY bench where I would sit for hours solving the world's problems, daydream, and reminisce. What a wonderful way to spend a day!

I plan on being as lazy as humanly possible today. I have somehow injured my foot and not taking the advice of my dear husband to go and have it x-rayed. I'm sure it will be fine although he feels it could possibly be a stress fracture after examining it. Just what I want, a cast on my leg in the middle of the summer. Hmmm. I think I'll just continue to limp around and drive everyone crazy. Really, it doesn't hurt too much unless I walk on it a lot.

Beautiful shot Ruth - it makes me want to be there! I can imagine being there with a nice breeze, a good book, and a tall glass of iced tea. Yep, I could be there! Nice shot.
