No Sleep For Me

Down
To fall to the ground. What moves down in your space?

Rusty is taking Charley "down" as Daisy does whatever it is that she does. She's the vocal one of the three and I don't know if she's telling them to knock it off, or saying, "get him, Rusty!" or "Hey, I'm telling mom!" It's only 1:30 in the morning here, I suppose I should make them be quiet so as not to wake up the entire house. Oh wait, that's right....Scott's in the bedroom snoring so loudly that I truly believe it will register on the Richter Scale. How can you possibly sleep through that noise?? Obviously I can't or I'd be in there right now. Why doesn't it wake him up? Oh these are age old questions I think every wife has asked and we're no closer to an answer now than we ever were. We just had our 26th wedding anniversary on Wednesday and maybe if I knew about the snoring then....naahhh, just kidding.

I treated myself to a little goodie tonight. I ordered a Holga camera. I've heard so much about the cool photos you can take with them and the price was right, only $23.oo so I figured I didn't have much to lose and I placed the order. Can't wait to get it and start playing. I also went out shopping for clothes tonight which is always a sure fire way to get depressed. I've never really been into the whole fashion thing even as a young girl. Give me a pair of blue jeans and a sweater or t-shirt and I'm good to go. My mother came over night before last to have dinner with us and she brought me a blouse that my dad had given her that she can't wear because it's too long for her. She's only 4 feet 11 inches tall and I'm 5'4. Umm, how can I say this without sounding cruel? IT WAS HIDEOUS!!! I mean c'mon, I may be pushing 52, but dang if I'm gonna wear that grandma blouse. Oh sure, I'm wearing a horrid frock right this very second as I'm sitting here, but I'm in the privacy of my own home, no one but my family will ever have to see it except for the policemen when they arrive to give us a noise warning for Scott's snoring. But I digress. I wouldn't be caught dead wearing that blouse and more importantly, what made her think I would??? Great, now I'm going to hurt her feelings if I don't wear it. Maybe I can hold off until Halloween and use it as a costume. Yeah, that might work.

Congrats on your anniversary. Beautiful dogs maybe one of them could rip a blouse - accidentally of course! Lol
Thanks for the advise. DH has managed to keep a rehydration drink down for over 30 minutes now so that's a start.
