Acid reflux kind of night

Curious
Eager to know or learn. Find 'curious' in your space today.

I just happend to snap this photo in my backyard this morning. Oh I'm such a liar...it was yesterday afternoon. Ok, ok, it's not even my backyard at all. It was up in Glacier Park Montana. I can't very well go taking pictures at 1am...and looking through my stash of photos I was pretty sure no one wanted to see the other photo I was thinking of using...the dogs sniffing each other...so this is what you're left with. I have a feeling it's going to be one of those days.
I forgot to take my stupid acid reflux medication and so after falling asleep oh so easily before 11pm, I was awakened by that horrible gasping for breath, coughing, sputtering that is my lovely friend, acid reflux. Of course I got no sympathy or understanding from Scott. Just a snotty, "Did you take your medicine?" as he hhmmpped and rolled over in anger. So, I got out of bed and here I am. The dogs are even giving me the evil eye so I say phooey on all of them. Well, that's not exactly what I said, but----you know.
I still haven't gotten around to taking back the skirt with the security tag attached to it. I suppose it will have to wait until some time this weekend. Sara flies home tonight and I can't wait to see her. She'll only be here a couple of days and I'm sure we'll go out shopping at some point and I can return the skirt then. One of the other things I bought during my little shopping spree the other day was a new iron. I should be embarrassed to admit that I haven't had an iron for probably 4 years. My old one died and I just never replaced it. How do I get the wrinkles out of our clothes you may ask? It's really easy. First of all I try not to buy anthing that is 100% cotton. Then, I always try to take things out of the dryer while they're still a little damp and hang them up. But, a lot of the time that just doesn't happen. The pile of dried clothes ends up in a heap on the wing-back chair in our bedroom where they stay until (a) we run out of clothes in the closest, or (b) the height of the mountain o' clothes threatens the blades of the ceiling fan. In which case I have taught Scott to take a damp washcloth and put it in the dryer with the article of clothing he wishes to "iron" and turn it on for a few minutes. What's a little wasted energy, right? After about 5 minutes you take out something that's wearable. Sometimes. If that doesn't work you can try getting the wash cloth all but drippy wet and have another go at the dryer...or just give up and find something else to wear and curse the day you married your non-housewifely wife. So I bought an iron. It's hanging right over the ironing board in the laundry room...just waiting for the day when the dryer method of wrinkle-free, or "not as wrinkly" clothes just won't cut it.

Yuck to acid reflux. I get it too and it's horrible if I forget to take my medication. My sympathies to you. xx

That's a great 'curious'. I sympathise over the acid reflux - sometimes I still get it even when I've taken the medication, but sometimes I forget.

Great picture, definetly fits the prompt today.
I might try the ironing, tumble drier thing I have broken my iron twice now but my thoughtful DH keeps buying me a new one!! What do you think - third time lucky?

Wonderful photo and LOL at the 'iron free' way of ironing... think I may just have to adopt it cos I hate that job too :)

Indeedy, a perfect word for him.
We don't mind sniffing dogs either though, just in case you're stuck another day - could be 'love' or 'fragrance' or all sorts really.
Poo to the shop that leaves security tags on, it's so annoying, and so embarrassing when the alarm goes off as you go back in to the shop (when it failed on the way out, how rubbish is that?).
