It's a cookie kind of day

I felt like making cookies yesterday so I made my famous shortbread cookies with a raspberry filling. mmm..these are sooo good. You just can't have a bad day after you've eaten a raspberry filled cookie.

We haven't had anymore rain. The mugginess is here, and there were a few places around town that got some, but not us. They say it could possibly rain by this afternoon but I'm not going to count on it. We have had more than 40 consecutive days of over 100 degree temps and I'm ready for some relief people.

I'm off to work...ugh. Would sooo rather stay at home today and relax but since that ain't happening, I'll be back later with another freaky factoid about me. Stay tuned.
